When the Darkness Feels Permanent

Hold on. Pain ends. There's a light inside you that has never gone out, even when you can't feel it.

What You Might Be Feeling Right Now

Maybe you wake up every morning already exhausted. Not physically, but in your soul. The thought of getting through another day feels like climbing a mountain with no summit. Maybe the things that used to bring you joy feel flat now, like the color has drained out of the world and everything is gray.

You might be going through the motions, showing up to work, answering texts, smiling when expected, but inside there's a heaviness that never lifts. Maybe you have stopped reaching out to people because you don't want to be a burden. Maybe you have stopped caring about things you used to love.

Perhaps you feel disconnected from yourself, like you're watching your life through glass. Maybe you're angry and don't know why. Maybe you cry for no reason, or worse, you can't cry at all even though you desperately want to.

Maybe you've been told to exercise more, think positive, be grateful. Maybe you have tried all of that and it hasn't worked, and now you feel even worse because you think the problem must be you.

The problem isn't you. Depression lies. It tells you this is permanent. It isn't.

My Approach to Depression

Depression may be situational, chemical, or a response to grief, trauma, or loss. It may come from a lifetime of suppressing who you really are to be who the world told you to be. Whatever the source, I don't put a band-aid on it. I go to the root.

I'm not a doctor, and if you need medication, I will never tell you not to take it. But I believe that alongside whatever medical support you have, there's deep spiritual work that can change the landscape of your inner world. Depression often lives in the gap between who you're and who you were taught to be. My work is helping you close that gap.

Together we look at the beliefs that are keeping you stuck. The stories you're telling yourself about your worth, your future, your right to be here. We bring those stories into the light and we ask: are they true? Who told you that? Do you want to keep believing it?

I draw on four decades of spiritual practice, my own journey through darkness, and a fierce belief that every person carries a light that can't be extinguished. My job isn't to fix you. My job is to sit with you until you can see your own light again.

What to Expect

We will sit together on Zoom for 30 minutes. You talk, I listen. There's no judgment, no homework, no pressure. You don't have to perform being okay. You don't have to have energy you don't have. Just show up exactly as you are.

If you want to talk, we will talk. If you need silence, we can sit in silence. If you cry, that's welcome. If you feel nothing, that's welcome too. There's no wrong way to do this.

I will ask you gentle questions. How long have you been feeling this way? What changed? What does a good day look like for you right now? I'm not diagnosing you. I'm trying to understand your world so I can meet you where you are.

You won't leave the call cured. You may leave it feeling something you haven't felt in a while: seen. That's where healing begins.

Everything discussed is completely confidential. This is a safe space. Period.
